We would like to introduce ourselves!
Business History:
Dan graduated with his Associates Degree in Tool & Die Making in 2000 and started his own construction business 2 years later. He built homes and decks for a few years before deciding that he enjoyed working with steel and welding a lot more. So, he switched to exclusively doing Industrial type work in 2006 with the exception of rebuilding his mother’s home after the Parkersburg tornado destroyed it in 2008.
Family:
Dan and Lorene were married in 2006 and welcomed their first son in 2007. They have since welcomed 2 more sons and 2 daughters into their hearts and home. Lorene homeschools their children and does all the necessary accounting work for Dan’s business in addition to running a business of her own.
Hobbies:
Nothing delights our family more than exploring God’s beautiful creation! We have hiked through Yellowstone, camped for a week along various rivers in Iowa and lakes in Minnesota, skied Sundown in Dubuque for the first time in the winter of ‘17/’18, taken a cruise to Alaska to celebrate our 8th Anniversary, spent a weekend in the Dubuque/Galena area with a hot air balloon ride to top it off, and more recently taken up fishing with our little fishing/ski boat! But coming home is always our favorite part, home to our 12 acres which is covered with trees and is complete with a cabin and a stocked pond.
